Miguel Luna: One Man, Many Voices

Miguel, a formidable Dominican-American, wears more hats than any one person could possibly imagine. He is a long-time Providence Councilman (Ward 9), a parent and an advocate for those not receiving adequate access: from issues ranging from quality education to home heating. He's outspoken on high property taxes as well as for the underrepresented and the working poor of America - not only Latinos, but all persons. What I like most about him is his energy and candor that allows for frank discussion and actionable solutions. He is a person who recognizes the power of coalitions made up of individuals from diverse backgrounds, which he is very comfortable working alongside. He's a smart leader that is all heart. What's not to like? I am lucky to have his advice and assistance.

Support Miguel at his fundraiser on 12/19, 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Fire Fighters Union Hall, 90-92 Printerty St., Prov.
